2021 AUSTRALIAN LGBTQ INCLUSION AWARDS

The Australian LGBTQ Inclusion Awards is an event celebrating and awarding Australia’s top organisations for LGBTQ inclusion based on
the results of the Australian Workplace Equality Index (AWEI) and the Health + Wellbeing Equality Index (HWEI).

The event is attended by CEO’s, dignitaries, senior executives, HR and diversity practitioners, employee network leaders, health and wellbeing practitioners, and members of LGBTQ employee networks and allies, all which have made a significant impact to LGBTQ inclusion in their workplaces.

The Awards is regarded by many as a must-attend event on the LGBTQ calendar and is widely shared across corporate and personal social media platforms. In addition, it is recognised in both LGBTQ and mainstream media, being broadcast on SBS World News the same evening.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the 2020 event was a little different to previous years, attended by 360 guests in person, with more than 400 guests watching via livestream all around Australia.

This year we will bring you another spectacular event, hosted by the wonderful SBS World News Journalist, Ricardo Gonçalves.

Keeping within COVID-19 restrictions to provide a safe environment for all, this event is one surely not to miss, which everyone can enjoy no matter where you’re joining us from.

Location: Hyatt Regency, 161 Sussex St, Sydney

Dress Code: Business/Semi Formal
Livestream time: 11:40am – 3:00pm (AEST)

*Doors will open at 11:00am and formalities will commence at 11:40am sharp. Due to current restrictions guests will not be able to network in the foyer. Upon arrival you will be ushered to your seat and asked to be seated throughout the event.

Both in-person and livestream tickets will be available for this event. In-person tickets are limited. 


WAITLIST FOR IN-PERSON TICKETS

To be placed on our waitlist for In-Person tickets, please email Michelle Blom at mblom@acon.org.au with your organisation, a contact name and how many tickets you’re after.  If tickets become available, one of our team members will be in touch.

In the meantime, livestream tickets are available and are unlimited.

IN-PERSON TICKETS

Due to current restrictions and limited in person tickets available, Premium and Corporate table tickets will be capped at 1 table per organisation and Individual tickets will be capped at 4 per organisation.

An email will be sent to you a few days before the event which will include the livestream URL and a unique password to login.

COVID-19 SAFETY MEASURES

Over the past year we have been working closely with the Hyatt Regency Sydney (a COVID safe venue) to ensure we are taking the appropriate safety measures to host this annual event, aligned with Government restrictions.
