At Lendlease we understand that we achieve better outcomes when we have teams of people who can think differently, but work together. That’s the power of inclusion. It’s respecting and harnessing differences to create better outcomes for our customers.
We know that Diversity and Inclusion is at its best when people encourage difference. It is a deliberate action. An active part of how we behave day to day. It starts with our core values and it is embedded into the way we work. We have the courage to do things differently by questioning and challenging stereotypes because it’s the right thing to do.
The Lendlease LGBTI Employee Resource Group was founded in 2011 and is focused on providing a safe and inclusive environment for LGBTI employees at Lendlease. It is comprised of a group of committed volunteers from around the business and is supported by an Executive Sponsor. The group aims to raise awareness on issues affecting our LGBTI colleagues at work and in the community and help drive real behavioural change.
Macquarie understands the importance of diversity and inclusion – our long history of success has come from being different. In every one of our offices across 28 countries around the world, you’ll find individuals from varied backgrounds with different ways of thinking, different skills and different experiences. At Macquarie we value the innovation and creativity that diversity of thought brings.
Macquarie recognises the value that a diverse workforce and strong employee networks groups offers not only our employees, but also the organisation and our community. Through the exchange of ideas and relationship building we are able to connect staff, and build a workplace inclusive of all. With the support of our partnerships with Australian organisations such as PID, we are pleased to be raising awareness of and promoting equality for all at Macquarie.
